Senior Risk Assessor
Senior risk assessor is required for work on environmental projects in California and elsewhere in the U.S. The successful
candidate must have extensive experience successfully managing and performing human health risk assessments. This position requires expertise in human
toxicology; interpretation of data and the use of statistical and modeling methods; identification of risk data gaps; assessment of contaminant exposure pathways and development
of Site Conceptual Models; calculation of exposure point concentrations and application of risk-based criteria; and evaluation of toxicity data to assess
adverse effects associated with exposure to environmental contaminants. Requires: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in toxicology or related field and
certification (DABT or CIH); ten years relevant experience; in-depth knowledge of US EPA and Cal-EPA guidance for risk assessment; excellent
communication and strong technical writing skills. Experience with ecological risk assessment and emergent chemicals is highly desirable. Position available in Oakland.

Geotechnical Engineer – Project Level or Above
Environmental and geotechnical engineering company seeks a project-level or above geotechnical engineer for geotechnical
engineering studies and for environmental projects including soil investigations, supervision of geotechnical
field work and soil remediation projects. Will be responsible for geotechnical proposal preparation, set-up of investigative programs, conduct or supervision of
investigative programs, set up laboratory testing programs, data evaluation, and technical reports. Candidates
should have four to eight years experience and hold a B.S./M.S. degree in civil/geotechnical engineering.
This position requires strong technical writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills. Candidate should have experience or
