Case Study
Northgate evaluated hydrogeologic conditions for a tidal wetlands restoration project in Suisun Marsh, Solano County, California. The project scope included the supervision of hydrogeologic investigations and modeling to evaluate water-bearing zones underlying the project area. Northgate designed, conducted, and interpreted hydraulic tests assessing the characteristics of the underlying water-bearing zones to provide parameters for a 2,000-gallon-per-minute groundwater supply system, and successfully predicted impacts on other supply wells in the vicinity, based on an assessment of the hydraulic communication between aquifers and surface water.
